Last 8th and 9th december 2008,The Spanish association of Ferrari Owners got together with more than 30 Ferraris and high class cars in the province of Cadiz because of the oficial Formula 1 Trainning-.We also celebrated the Xmas dinner with more than 60 people.
The event bega non Monday the 8th december in the Ferrari Official Concesionary in Salamanca.There we had breakfast offered by the concesionary and from her ewe want to thank them for the especial treatment received.
About 10.30 we left all the Ferraris caravanning heading for Jerez de la Frontera.There were Ferrarris 430,360,355,348,Maranello,Fiorano,,Scaglietti and other marks as Lamborghini Gallardo,Aston Martin DBS o mi Alfa Romeo 8C competizione.
When we arrived in Jerez we all went to visit the Bodega Real Tesoro,where there are more than 25000 barrels of Sherry,the Picasso,Dalí and Miró Art museum,Yeguada Militar and the Carriages museum.
After that we had a cocktail in the welcome hall of the Bodega and then to the main hall to have our Xmas dinner with the typical “zambomba”from Jerez organizad for us.
After that the Ferrari caravan went to the 5* Hotel Jerez where we had the parking reserved for us,a fruit basket to welcome us and lots of typical Xmas products.
Next day,Tuesday the 9th dec.we visited the Circuito de Jerez in order to see the oficial training of formula 1.The circuito de Jerez people were most kind to us and allowed us to park all the Ferraris in the same paddock where the lorries and motorhomes were.
There we had a VIP hall reserved for the Ferrari Group,where we had a service of catering with drinks,coffees,pastry etc.
Afterwards in groups of 14 people we went to the paddock and met some pilots like Pedro Martinez de la Rosa,Kimi Raikkonen and a very pleasant visit to the Toro Rosso box
As an extra activity and exclusive we had a walk on the Pit Lane where we saw the F1 cars roaring at about 5 meters from us.Very impressive.
At about 2 oclock in the afternoon we went to Restaurante La Cueva where we had the lunch for closing the event.
The ones that had the oportunity to participate in this event went back home very happy to have been together and waiting for the next event that The Spanish Association of Ferrari Owners and our friend Enrique Ramallo will organize.
